  1. Hey Summi! I think you did a great job! I know it was hard for you to do this especially since you did not have your own laptop.

I really liked your images they really helped to create the tone of the story. The fit with your storyline and allowed me to visualize and relate to your story.

    :o)

  2. I also want to study abroad, and I will probably face the same problems you did. However, your story really gave me confidence. I realized that I have to work hard to accomplish my goals, just like you have.

I thought your grammar was excellent. I'm assuming that you learned English, and with much difficulty. I'm really surprised at how well you can speak English. I'm trying to learn Japanese but I'm not very good. Keep your spirits high :)

  3. wow, nice story, i'm actually considering becoming a foreign exchange student too. i can't imagine how it must be to be somewhere thousands of miles away from anyone you know. i liked how you used the images, you started using pictures of yourself once you started getting used to being here. maybe one day i'll follow my dream like you followed yours.

  4. SUMMI!!

your story was really great. it really touched me. you are a very strong person and I really look up to that. although your parents canʻt support you iʻm sure they are still very proud.

the economy of your story is good. it matches your pictures and itʻs not draggy. it gets to the point.
    good job!

  5. I think your story is the most compelling digital story on this blog. It tells me what you want & how much you gave to get it. I would like to say that most people out there, If they did what you are doing, might have a so much better life.
